Bénévole de l’année – Saison 2023-2024  

C’est avec une immense reconnaissance que nous félicitons Patrick Gramuglia (chandail gris), récipiendaire du titre de Bénévole de l’année pour la saison 2023-2024. Un honneur plus que mérité, même si la remise a pris un peu de retard 

Patrick est un pilier incontournable de notre organisation, bien que son travail se déroule souvent dans l’ombre. Son rôle est crucial : il négocie sans relâche les droits de passage pour le contournement des sentiers, les nouveaux projets et même les situations délicates où certains propriétaires souhaitent restreindre l’accès. Son engagement ne s’arrête pas là : il gère également toute les négociations avec les municipalités, les MRC et le ministère des Transports du Québec.

Mais ce n’est pas tout ! Patrick joue un rôle clé dans le financement de nos infrastructures. Grâce à lui, nous obtenons des subventions essentielles, notamment auprès de la FCMQ et d’autres organismes. Sans son travail acharné, nous n’aurions pas pu réaliser des projets majeurs, comme la construction de nouveaux ponts.

Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas, il assume également la responsabilité de chef patrouilleur.

Merci, Patrick, pour ton dévouement exceptionnel. Nous sommes extrêmement chanceux de t’avoir parmi nous !

Volunteer of the Year – Season 2023-2024

It is with immense gratitude that we congratulate Patrick Gramuglia (grey sweater), recipient of the title of Volunteer of the Year for the 2023-2024 season.

Patrick is an essential pillar of our organization, although his work often takes place in the shadows. His role is crucial: he constantly negotiates rights of way for trail bypasses, new projects and even tricky situations where some owners want to restrict access. His commitment does not stop there: he also manages all negotiations with the municipalities, the MRCs and the Quebec Ministry of Transport.

But that’s not all! Patrick plays a key role in financing our infrastructure. Through it, we get essential grants, including from the FCMQ and other organizations. Without his hard work, we would not have been able to carry out major projects such as building new bridges.

And if that’s not enough, he also assumes the responsibility of patrolling chief.
